The Möbius strip is a two-dimensional variety, a standard example of non-orientable surface. It was discovered by August Ferdinand Möbius and Johann Benedict Listing in 1858.
Our designer’s interest lies in the first representations which can be seen in a Roman mosaic from the beginning of the third century. It was found in a villa in Sentinum where the god Aion is represented in a zodiac circle. That circle represents the cyclic and eternal time.
Aion, in contrast with Cronus idea of devouring time, is conceived as the idea of eternal and prosperous time.
With this necklace, in Yuvero we claim the eternal prosperity of the one who wears it.
